Leila is a licensed social worker who calls Louisiana home, but has spent the last three years traveling to various hospitals throughout the country as a travel social worker. With a specialization in medical social work, her focus primarily lies in behavioral health and acute hospital case management, where she helps patients and families navigate the complexities of healthcare. Before stepping into the world of social work, Leila dedicated a significant portion of her career to Catholic education as a high school theology teacher, campus minister, and principal. Several years ago she felt the call to make the transition into healthcare and now feels immensely blessed to be able to walk alongside others during some of their most vulnerable moments. Leila has a heart for encouraging others to step out in their God given mission, especially in healthcare settings, and is honored to be part of the Kingdom Medicine team.
